‎Tennis: British Number One Reaches Semis In California With Zheng Win

British number one Johanna Konta has qualified for the semi-final of the Bank of the West Classic in California following her three sets victory over ‎Saisai Zheng.

Konta, who is ranked 18th in the world, secured the victory over her opponents, who is 56 places below, in just over two hours and two minutes.

She will now face Dominika Cibulkova for a place in the final while Venus Williams take on fellow American Alison Riske in the other semi-final.
