London Anniversary Games: World's Fastest Man Bolt Powers To 200m Win

World's fastest man Usain Bolt of Jamaica proved his fitness ahead of next month's Rio 2016 Olympic Games after he won the 200m in an impressive time of 19.89 seconds and 0.15 seconds ahead of Panama's Alonso Edward in second place.

Britain's commonwealth silver medallist Adam Gemill came third with a time of 20.07 seconds, which was his season's best.

By virtue of winning the race, 29-year old Usain Bolt has allayed fears concerning his participation at the Olympic Games after he missed the Jamaican trials last month as a result of injury and he is on course to defend the 100m and 200m titles he won at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
