NJC Recalls Six Judges Accused Of Corruption


THE National Judicial Council has recalled six judges suspended following allegations of corruption brought against them by the federal government.

In a statement Saturday, the council recalled Justice Adeniyi Ademola alongside five other judges.

Other recalled judges are:

John Inyang Okoro of the Supreme Court;

Uwani Aji of the Court of Appeal;

Hydiazira Nganjiwa of the Federal High Court;

Musa H. Kurya of the Federal High Court and

Agbadu James Fishim of National Industrial Court of Nigeria.

Eight judges were suspended last year.

Among them is Mr. Ademola whose case has been concluded. He was among the three judges charged to court.

The judge was acquitted of the charge of corruption.
