Jonathan Spent A Lot To Prevent Ambode From Becoming Governor- Tinubu

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the ex Lagos State governor has come forward to say that Former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, GoodLuck Ebele Jonathan happened  to have spent a lot of money in making sure the present Lagos State Governor, Ambode does not win.

Tinubu further claimed that Jonathan had tried to take over the state by empowering his own team during the 2015 elections describing the period as most challenging since he himself abandoned his booming career in a multinational oil company for politics.

The Ex Governor further gave other accounts of how Jonathan struggled hard to take over control of all the stakeholders meeting he addressed at the APC secretariat, Ogba alongside Lagos State Governor Ambode amongst others.

He claims the 2015 elections were quite challenging, reminiscing how the PDP with the lead of Jonathan moved "to take over the state by all means including spending huge cash but the APC members resolutely stood their ground and ensured Victory of the party", Tinubu said.
