12-Year-Old Keith Bennett's Murderer Refuses To Admit Where The Body was Buried

Moors murderer Ian Brady, who killed five children alongside Myra Hindley (pictured together, centre), has died, Ashworth Hospital confirmed last night. The child killer (left) was receiving end of life care at the secure mental hospital where he was being detained in Merseyside. In December it was revealed that he was suffering from inoperable lung cancer. Brady (right), and his co-accused Hindley murdered Pauline Reade, 16, John Kilbride, 12, Keith Bennett, 12, Lesley Ann Downey, ten, and Edward Evans, 17. The pair tortured the children in the 1960s and four of the victims were buried on Saddleworth Moor in the South Pennines. Brady was jailed for three murders in 1966 and had been at Ashworth since 1985. He and Hindley later confessed to another two murders.
