NLC Gives Kogi State Government 4-Week Ultimatum Over Unpaid Salaries

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) has given the Kogi State government a four-week ultimatum to clear the salary arrears of workers or face mass action from the Secretariat of the Organised Labour.
The ultimatum was issued by NLC Chairman, Comrade Ayuba Wabba in the state capital Lokoja while addressing a crowd of workers who staged a protest against the non-payment of their salaries adding that the four weeks were to give the government enough time to address the various issues that needed to be addressed.

Kogi State workers have been on strike for the past four weeks to protect what they called selective payments and being forced to operate unsolicited accounts where salaries were paid.
