Flying Eagles Held By NNL Side Remo Stars In Friendly Match

Nigeria's U-20 side Flying Eagles played out a two-all draw with Nigeria National League (NNL) side Remo Stars at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos on Wednesday evening as both sides shared a four-goal thriller in a friendly match.

An Oche Salefu own goal and a strike from Orji Okonkwo edged Emmanuel Amuneke's side 2-0 ahead but Ekenne Awaze and Onu scored to restore parity in the match, which also saw Samuel Chukwueze miss a penalty.

The Flying Eagles, who are African Champions, are stepping up preparations for the AFCON U20 qualifier with Sudan in Lagos on Saturday having won the first leg 2-1 away from home.
