Formula One: World Champion Hamilton Wins British Grand Prix

Formula one champion Lewis Hamilton has won the British Grand Prix, which took place on Sunday, ahead of teammate Nico Rosberg, who later dropped to third position after he was penalised, and young Dutch driver Max Verstappen.

The win makes it Hamilton's 4th career win at Silverstone as he attempts to overtake championship leader and Mercedes teammate at the top of the standings.

Hamilton's dominant win means he has now cut Nico Rosberg's lead at the top to just a solitary point in the race to be Formula one champion at the end of the current season.
