Flying Eagles Stun Hosts Sudan In Comeback Win

The national U-20 team popularly known as the Flying Eagles have moved a step closer to sealing a place in the 2017 AFCON U-20 Nations Cup in Zambia following a 2-1 comeback win over hosts Sudan in the 1st leg of the final round of qualifiers.

The home side took a first half lead, which provoked a reaction from the African U-20 champions as goals from Samuel Chukwueze and star forward Victor Osimhen turned the game in Nigeria's favour.

With the win, head coach Emmanuel Amuneke and his boys are well-positioned ahead of the second leg clash between both countries slated for Nigeria on the 22nd of July.
