Drunken Man Monday Eze Stabs Uncle To Death In Lagos

A drunken man identified as Monday Eze has stabbed his uncle Ebere Akpu to death in the Orile-Agege area of Lagos State shortly after both parties had a disagreement over a minor issue around 11pm on Sunday.

Eze, who is a laundry man went out to get himself drunk at a pub before returning to stab his uncle, who had slept in different parts of his body. Akpu reportedly died on Omotoye Estate, where policemen recovered his corpse at 1am on Monday.

Akpu and Eze hails from Ebonyi State and they were married with Children though the latter had lived in Lagos for 15 years while the uncle had only stayed in Lagos for a few years. Both were living with another relative James, who had a laundry on Omotoye Estate where the incident toook place.

The suspect Monday Eze has since submitted himself to the police having initially fled the crime scene.
