Six suspected Boko Haram suspects have been apprehended in Lagos State by the Civilian Joint Task Force (JTF) in various parts of Lagos State.
The suspects identified as Ibrahim Ali, Abubakar Akmed, Babagana Balm Ali, Goigoi Kamsalem, Ibrahim Mohammed and Adams were said to have disclosed that they are indigenes of Borno State but they fleed due to military offensive against terrorists in Bama, Baga and Konduga.
Speaking on the breakthrough, Head of the Civillian JTF, the Mai-Kanuribe of Lagos and Seriki Hausawa of Ijora kingdom stated that Ibrahim Ali and Babagana Balm Ali, who are from Bama and Konduga Local Government respectively were arrested at Isheri-Ojodu Berger while Goigoi Kamsalem and Ibrahim Mohammed from Bama alongside Abubakar Ahmed of Baga Local Government council were arrested at a hideout in Victoria Island. The sixth suspect was however picked up close to a church.
