Bala Muhammed Remanded In Prison By Court

Bala Muhammed who was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, on a six count charge of alleged abuse of office was on Wednesday remanded at the Kuje Maximum prison
over fraudulent allegations brought against him.

He is accused of failing to declare properties that belongs to him as well as alleged involvement in the collection of gratification to the total sum of 550 million during his tenure in office as a minister, while arraigned before a High Court of FCT.

The case had been adjourned till May the 12th for ruling on the application of bail.
