Woman Commits Suicide After Beaten Up By A Couple.

A woman killed herself after she was brutally assaulted with a dog lead and had her wounds showered with vinegar by her  neighbour and boyfriend.

Leah Ratheram, 20, was found hanged in woodland following her horrific ordeal, which left a second victim permanently disabled. She left a note saying the attack was one of the “bad things” which caused her to take her own life, Miss Ratheram was beaten up after Lucy Regan and her boyfriend Omaij Christie forced their way into her flat. She was punched by Regan, knocked over and hit with the lead as she tried to protect herself. Vinegar was also poured over her wounds to make them sting.

The second victim, Miss Ratheram’s friend Paul James-Lyons, fell from her third floor balcony as he tried to escape when he was attacked by Christie with a dog lead.

Christie lashed out at his left wrist as the 24-year-old clung onto the railings for dear life. The duo was jailed today.
Regan, 33, was sent to prison for two-and-a-half years. while Christie, 27 was jailed for 11 years.
