A horrified dad who woke up to his toddler's daughters cry was shocked to see a stranger holding the little girl on his laps as he cuddles her. The father - who has not been identified - went to check on his two-year-old daughter after hearing her whimpers at around 2.30am on Thursday. The stranger later identified as Oren Aharon Cohen, claimed he was extremely drunk and could only remember playing with a 'midget' in a dark room. He also insisted 'with 100 per cent certainty' he did not engage in any sexual acts with the victim.
After Cohen was allegedly discovered holding the toddler, he told her dad: "I'm your friend" before tossing her on to the couch, it is reported. The father then tried to prevent the suspect from fleeing from the apartment in Arizona, US, while the little girl's mum called 911, police say. The woman, who has also not been named, told the dispatcher that her husband was fighting with a burglar, The toddler's parents told police they had never seen Cohen before finding him holding their daughter in their living room in Tempe.
However, The little girl was still dressed in her pyjamas and a nappy when she was discovered.
Cohen was later arrested and charged with second-degree burglary, aggravated assault and kidnapping in relation to the alleged incident. Officers reportedly had to use a stun gun to detain him after he 'resisted commands'
