Spanish Champions Barcelona Agree Deal To Sign Portuguese Midfielder From Valencia

Spanish champions Barcelona have agreed a deal to sign 22-year old Portuguese midfielder Andre Gomes in a deal that could be worth £45.3m.

Andre Gomes, who was an active member of the Portuguese team as they won EURO 2016, joined Valencia from Benfica two seasons ago and has gone on to make 77 appearances for the Spanish side.

He becomes Barcelona's fourth signing of the summer after French defenders Samuel‎ Umtiti and Lucas Digne as well as Spanish midfielder Denis Suarez.
