National U23 Friendly Match In Atlanta Rained Off

The friendly‎ match between the national U23 side, Dream Team VI, and local side Charleston Battery FC initially scheduled for the Silverbacks Stadium in Atlanta at 8pm local time (1am Nigerian time) has been postponed after heavy downfall.

Samson Siasia's team are presently in the city of Atlanta in the United States of America stepping up preparations ahead of the Rio 2016 Olympics next month and are also expected to play another Rio-bound team, Honduras in a friendly match before they depart the United States of America on July 29.

Nigeria and Honduras had earlier met at the Suwon Invitational tournament, which also included Denmark and hosts South Korea, with the former winning 2-1.
