International Champions Cup: EPL Champions Beat Celtic On Penalties

English Premier League (EPL) champions Leicester City have beaten Celtic 6-5 on penalties at the ongoing International Champions Cup after both sides played 1-1 in regulation time.

Last season's PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez gave Leicester City the lead in the ‎46th minute only for Eoghan O'Connell to curl in an equaliser from 25 yards thirteen minutes later.

The first 10 penalties were scored before Celtic's James Forrest saw his effort saved and Daniel Amartey scored to give Leicester City ‎a bonus point in the pre-season competition.

Claudio Ranieri's men will confront French champions Paris St. Germain‎ in California next Saturday while Celtic have their all important UEFA Champions League in between a friendly with Barcelona next weekend.
