Former Burundi Minister Hafsa Mossi Assassinated.

Former minister and spokeswoman for the Burundi government, Hafsa Mossi, has been assassinated in the country's capital of Bujumbura on Wednesday Jul13, 2016.

The unfortunate incident was confirmed via Twitter by the Burundian Police spokesperson, Pierre Nkurikiye as follows: "Hon. Mossi was assassinated 10.30  in Gihosha in the east Bujumbura by two criminals in a vehicle."

A close relative further shared details of her assassination: "She was inside her car near her home when a tinted car knocked her from behind. She went out to see what happened and was shot twice."
