DSS Operatives Arrest Alleged Coup Plotter Towards Buhari's Government

The mastermind of a hoaxed plan to overthrow the present government of Muhammadu Buhari, Jones Abari aka Gen. Akotebe Darikoro has been arrested by operatives of the department Of State Security (DSS).

The arrest was confirmed via a statement from Mr. Tony Opuiyo, a DSS official, on Saturday adding that Abari was arrested in Yenagoa while describing the suspect as the leader of the Joint Revolutionary Council of the Joint Niger Delta Liberation Force.

Jones Abari has reportedly confessed to other criminal activities such as threat to launch missile attacks on selected targets in Abuja and Aso Rock. Others include writing threat messages to the management of the Nigeria Agip Oil Company and the Shell Petroleum Development Company demanding for N500m and N250m respectively.

He also masterminded the vandalism of NAOC trunk line in Ogboinbiri, Southern Ijaw and bombing of SPDC oil pipeline.
