Court Of Appeal Confirms Senator David Mark's Election

The February 20th, 2015 election of former Senate President, Senator David Mark (PDP) for Benue State Senatorial District has been confirmed after a Court of Appeal sitting in Makurdi upholded the decision of the state election tribunal to confirm Mark's election.

APC Candidate Daniel Onjeh had earlier petitioned the state election tribunal over Mark's victory during the elections but his petition was thrown out on the 30th of June prompting him to seek redress in the Court of Appeal.
