Flora eyed her grandma with affection, The dress she had had on her was a Marks and Spencer dress which she bought over two years ago. OK, she said cheerfully i will wear it. Although it was a very short journey, they got out from the car, her grandparents were so old these days that they couldn't walk much. They went into the house. Mr Ben a very stout elderly man with advanced years came our to meet them followed by his wife, she pecked Mrs Lana cheek and also did the same to Flora, saying that Flora look so much pale. Lana kissed her too for they had known each other from childhood. They a crossed into the hall and organized themselves in a circle around the fire to take their gin and tonics.
There is the car Mrs Ben announced and before Becky could frame the word "Whose Car" Mrs Ben threw open the drivers door with something like a flourish and doctor Dave walked in. Under Becky' surprised state he greeted everybody in the house. Mr and Mrs Ben introduced him to Lana and her husband and finally to Flora herself. Faintly amused the pair shook hands. As the evening wore on she was beginning to believe that none of his true feelings towards her was showing. We have already met he informed the house. His hostess smiled silently.
