A Man Rescued After Attempting Suicide.

The man entered the water at Victoria Dock in Caernarfon at around midday

A man was rescued after he jumped into the Menai Strait today. Emergency services were called to the scene at around midday after the man entered the water at Victoria Dock in Caernarfon.

A spokesman said the man was rescued from the water by a boat from Plas Menai.

The man was taken by emergency ambulance to Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor.

It is not known at this stage if the man had sustained any injuries.
